Flexible Pallet Stacker for Modern Intralogistics

Pallet flow management in warehouses and production sites often involves varying pallet formats, manual adjustments, and safety constraints around automated equipment. Addressing these operational factors, Palomat introduced a new version of its Palomat Greenline pallet stacker with broader pallet compatibility, configurable gripping height, integrated data access, and extended safety protection.

One Machine for Multiple Pallet Formats
The updated Palomat Greenline is designed to handle more than 90 percent of commonly used standard pallets, including disposable pallets, Euro pallets, plastic pallets, and retail-standard variants. This reduces the need for separate pallet magazines or format-specific equipment in facilities where pallet types vary between suppliers or product lines.

Users can adjust the gripping height themselves when pallet dimensions change. This configuration flexibility supports evolving pallet specifications without mechanical modification or external programming, which is relevant in high-mix logistics environments and internal material flow systems.

Visibility Into Pallet Throughput
Operational data from the Palomat Greenline can be exported to a PC. This enables monitoring of how many pallets the unit processes in its installed location and supports service planning based on usage. Access to machine data is relevant for facilities applying data-driven maintenance strategies and aiming to increase uptime across automated intralogistics assets.

Expanded Safety Detection Zone
The safety zone has been increased from 5 cm to 45 cm using a light curtain system. This ninefold expansion in monitored area enhances personnel protection around the pallet stacker compared with the previous configuration. The updated safety concept combines the light curtain with revised safety sequencing and physical guarding, aligning the equipment with higher internal safety requirements often specified by large industrial operators.

Higher Clearance for Industrial Vehicles
Ground clearance on the new Palomat Greenline has been increased by 50 mm. The additional clearance reduces the likelihood of impact damage from electric pallet stackers or forklifts operating in confined or high-traffic areas, a common risk in production logistics and warehouse staging zones.

Component Selection and Industrial Integration
The pallet stacker incorporates components from established industrial suppliers, including Linak, Siemens, and SICK, supporting integration into standard factory automation environments. The system is intended for internal pallet handling in manufacturing and distribution settings where repeatable stacking and destacking reduce manual handling and support consistent pallet flow.

The new Palomat Greenline is scheduled for presentation at the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart from March 24 to 26, 2026.
