Basler AG at LogiMAT 2026: Tailor-Made Machine Vision for Logistics

Machine vision in action for modern logistics
Machine vision is becoming a key enabler for productivity in logistics, automating tasks such as incoming goods inspection, order processing, and robot-assisted handling while reducing repetitive manual work. At LogiMAT, Basler will present practical, live demonstrations showing how its compatible cameras, frame grabbers, and software modules work together to solve real intralogistics challenges efficiently and economically.

Premiere: Basler Stereo mini 3D camera
A major highlight at the booth is the first public presentation of the new Basler Stereo mini 3D camera. The compact, lightweight, and cost-efficient stereo camera is designed for object recognition and navigation tasks in logistics environments and will be shown in a live application during the exhibition.

Live demonstrations at the booth
Visitors can explore several hands-on use cases illustrating the value of machine vision in warehouse automation and intralogistics, including:
  • High-speed code detection: Fast and reliable reading of barcodes, QR codes, and OCR using FPGA-based pre-processing on the frame grabber for accurate goods tracking.
  • Pick-and-place of consumer goods: A robot vision solution that automatically calculates gripping points for complex pick-and-place operations, increasing precision and throughput. Plug-and-play modules support applications such as object recognition, navigation, and CAD matching.
Expert insight at the LogiMAT forum
On Thursday, 26 March, at 3:30 p.m., Kathrin Martens, Product Market Manager at Basler, will present in Forum North, Hall 7, explaining how machine vision addresses growing industry challenges and why logistics operators are investing in technology upgrades to future-proof their operations.

Tailored solutions across the logistics value chain
“From incoming goods inspection to delivery, we develop solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the logistics industry,” says Lars Brinkmann, DACH Head of Sales at Basler. Together with his team, he invites visitors to the booth to experience firsthand how Basler’s machine vision solutions support efficient, scalable, and reliable logistics processes.
