Nord Modules Expands AMR Ecosystem Through Collaboration With KUKA
New Pallet Mover top modules launched for KUKA KMP1500P to simplify autonomous pallet handling.

Nord Modules has announced a new collaboration with KUKA, expanding its growing ecosystem of supported Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) platforms. As part of the partnership, Nord Modules has introduced its first ready-to-use top modules for KUKA AMRs: the Nord Pallet Mover for the KUKA KMP1500P.
The Nord Pallet Mover is designed for autonomous pallet handling in intralogistics and production environments. Mounted directly on top of the AMR, the module uses powered rollers to pick up, transport, and transfer pallets between loading stations. Precise docking is achieved via the Nord Dock Target, while wireless communication with external conveyors ensures reliable, synchronized material flow between production lines, packing stations, and logistics areas.
Three variants for global pallet standards
The Pallet Mover is available in three variants, each tailored to common pallet formats and regional requirements:
- PM800 – optimized for Euro pallets
- PM1000 – designed for US pallet handling
- PM1200 – supporting larger pallet formats
This modular approach allows manufacturers and logistics operators to deploy standardized automation solutions while accommodating different pallet sizes without custom engineering.
